Michelle Romo

Michelle M. Kaiser began her training at Dance Arts Academy in Chelsea, Michigan where she was a member of the Dance Arts Performance Ensemble, a youth company that allowed Michelle to perform in Spain. After high school she earned an Associate of Applied Arts Degree in Dance from Lansing Community College where she was a part of the lecture demonstration program and the LCC touring company that performed in Japan. In 2000, Michelle became company member of Studio Mimu in Warsaw, Poland with Stefan Niedialkowski, an internationally renowned movement artist. While in Warsaw, she studied at the National School of Ballet. After her return to the United States, Michelle completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance at Western Michigan University. Before moving to Memphis she taught at Academy of the Arts in Spring Arbor, Michigan contributing technique classes and choreography to the Jackson Ballet Company. After a four year hiatus, raising her two little boys and living in California where her husband served as a United States Marine, Michelle is permanently back in the Memphis area.
